Jassim Alsaady has spent 24 years working at the intersection of storytelling. He has directed over 100 projects spanning commercials, documentaries, and films — earning international recognition, including the Robert Bosch Award twice, and Saudi Arabia's Best Commercials for National Day in both 2021 and 2022. His career has taken him across the world, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as Morgan Spurlock and Tom Tykwer, and working alongside Hollywood talent like Tom Hanks. He has worked on productions that have reached global audiences through Netflix, HBO, and IMAX Films.

Shaped by years living in Europe and immersed in literature and art, Jassim developed a storytelling instinct that is both cinematic and deeply human — a European eye informed by an Arabic heart. His yoga practice, rooted in over 16 years of study across countries and traditions, is what gives his work its particular depth — a stillness and presence that shows in every frame he directs, every script he touches, every product he represents, and every set he walks onto. He doesn't just tell stories. He listens for them and makes the audience feel them.
He founded Cinema Mirkaz — the first arthouse cine-club in Jeddah — and is now evolving it into a full art collective for independent Saudi cinema. He is currently in development on his debut feature film and consulting with Saudi productions.
